       Yes, i know i'm atheist, and i know that god isn't real (freedom of religion people!!), but due to the fact that people ate free to their beliefs and some of those people include my family, i'm forced to celebrate.
at least it gives me an excuse to get free stuff and get a tofurky!!

FOOD REVIEW : Earth balance vegan macaroni and vegan cheese

Have i even mentioned im addicted to vegan cheeses? Well if i haven't, now you know.

For my food reviews i am not going to make them long, i will first say my thoughts before i try it, then i will mention if i like it or not and talk about the taste and texture, then i will give it a rating of 1-10 stars. So here it goes!

So ever since i was old enough to eat pasta i have loved macaroni and cheese, which makes sense because cheese acts like a drug in your body. then when i was around 9 i started trying all different brands. I Was a vegetarian from age 7-10, then when i was 11 i went vegan. But back to the time when i was vegetarian, I learned about rennet when i was about age 8 1/2, so i only got Annie's, because the question never came to me : How does a big company like Annie's produce enough milk to make 1,000,000 boxes a week? Either way, i started realizing that organic and "humane" farming isn't all its cracked up to be. so i went vegan. now it has been almost 3 years since i went vegan. And the way i got my cheese fix was amys vegan macaroni and cheese. (bless you amy's for helping me survive until the sudden vegan macaroni and cheese party) so i survived on that until suddenly 10 different brands (lets see, earth balance, so delicious, candle cafe, Daiya, annies (i have heard it is gross though), pastariso, roads end, and a few more i cant remember) 

Anyways, i have eaten this before and omg its so good. But i thought to review it anyways. I'll describe what i was thinking when i was at whole foods (if your wondering, my mother brings me there)

the package looked like it was going to be delicious, and whoa i totally right. I simply asked my mother, and like always she says yes unless its over $10. and then it was time to taste it

Note : make all my pasta and vegan macaroni and cheese in my rapid mac cooker, it takes around 5 minutes to cook.

                               

When i opened the box, the noodles even looked like kraft ones (in a good way). As you can tell i was excited. Once the pasta cooks you have to add 2 tbs of earth balance margarine (original is best) and 4 tbs of soy milk (silk light original is best) which is similar to kraft, Then you mix it and its done! Then it was time for the tasting (i'm eating right now so i will describe what it tastes like)

                                

Omg this time it tastes even better than kraft, its tangy, not too salty, with i'd say a tiny tiny tiny bit sweet. Over all it tastes mega cheesy. Now i just need them to make a vegan easy mac so i can bring it to family occasions and things like that. Over all Earth balance gets 10 stars for this vegan to-die-for macaroni and "cheese"

A sad birthday for Bella...

Today is Bellas 2nd birthday, so whats so sad about that?

      Well for about a week she had been itching her ear and shaking her head a lot, so as i was going to bed last Sunday night i decided to look at her ear, and when i did, i almost screamed. It was all red, flaky, and swollen.

     i texted my mom right then so she could read it when she woke up for work (i'm on winter break and she had to work yesterday! Too bad for her!) then when i woke up she called me and we made a vet appointment for today, her birthday! Usally i would go to the vet with her but i was busy with personal things. So anyways when she got home she told me she has a double ear infection! First of all i was surprised because the only ear that was red, flaky, and swollen was her right ear, and her left one looked fine so that surprised me.

So for the next ten days i have to give her ear drops and flush her ears every 2-3 days.

So even though she will get better, it still was a sad birthday for Bella!

although we did give her presents!

she got a rubber ladybug and elephant (she loves rubbery squeaky toys!) and ANOTHER braided rope, they look kinda like this (except hers is purple and yellow) :
they are more like a temporary toy, she nips at it and un-braids it and then it is so damaged you cant re-braid it,  they take her about 2-3 weeks to rip it up completely, but she loves it, and that's all that matters! (also the fact that they are at the dollar store XD )

also she got 2 scooby-doo tennis balls.

so although she was in pain for most of the day, she still had a good birthday!

Welcome to my blog!

       OK, first i'm going to make it clear, that i am a very unique 13 1/3 year old vegan girl, yes, i said it, 13 1/2. (so please don't get annoyed if my grammar is terrible XD ). I like exploring new placed, although sadly my family is, lets just say is lower middle class. I plan to keep this blog through college and maybe my early adulthood. i'm an atheist,  and i'm sure there is way more but i'm too lazy to remember.

      I chose the name Vegan girl meets world because when i'm older i plan to travel a lot, not very far, mainly across the country, Canada (OMG i love Canada) and also i really would like to go to England one day. I have never wanted kids, and i dont think i ever will which luckily for me means i can save up more money to travel instead of wasting  it buying 30 diapers every day and expensive toys that get thrown away one month later.

       I will mainly blog about crafts, baking, and trying new vegan foods and stuff, and my aunt is taking me to Canada later this year so i will also blog about that, and any other trips i may go on.
